Where are we?
Cornudella de Montsant is in the valley between Siurana and Montsant.
The eastern part of the region is formed by the large and imposing cliffs of Prades Mountains, where we find the village and old town of Siurana, incorporated into Cornudella in 1942.
Siurana was the last Muslin stronghold in Catalonia, and its whole history and landscapes are declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest.
On the other hand, Montsant is one of the most important natural areas in the southern region of Catalonia. It’s complicated orography has allowed the preservation of a great diversity of plants and animal species, many of them declared protected by their natural value.
